As a Therapist you will normally require a current First Aid qualification in order to hold insurance or to maintain membership of your Professional Associations. Even if you don’t have this requirement, first aid knowledge could be very useful to you.

The level of training you should undertake as a therapist will depend on where you work and how many other first aid trained staff are working along side you.

We would recommend that if you work alone, in your own practice or otherwise, you should have the Appointed Person qualification.

If you are working alongside other therapists then the Basic First Aid course would probably be sufficient. However, if time permits, the Appointed Person qualification does give an enhanced level of knowledge and confidence.

Why not give us a call now? We will be happy to talk through what might suit you best.
